As fans keep streaming and clamoring for more live shows, Goo Goo Dolls finally announced a Summer Tour 2026 with special guest Neon Trees. It's gonna be a blast as these bands rock out and prove their great role in defining rock music for generations to come. A Bit of Goo Goo Dolls History

Known as one of the greatest rock bands on earth, the Goo Goo Dolls actually started off as a cover band and later became a standout name in rock as their single "Name" became a success. Later on, they became world-renowned for their track "Iris", which spent 11 consecutive months on the Hot 100, and topped the charts for 18 weeks. Selling over 15 million records around the globe + garnering four Grammy Award nominations, Navigating pop, punk, and rock attitudes, the "We Are the Normal" makers soon defined rock music for generations to come. From "A Boy Named Goo" down to "Chaos in Bloom", and a Summer Anthem EP, the pair is keeping the music alive and kicking. 

Anthems Made for the Summer

The band's latest EP marks their long-celebrated prominence in the industry. While it contains songs named "Nothing Lasts Forever" and "Not Goodbye (Close My Eyes", Rzeznik had made it clear that a retirement isn't in their books.  Keeping tours alive with high-energy and throwback performances, the band's frontman stuns with top-notch visuals, pumped-up energy, and a soulful voice. It's almost like he hasn't aged a bit. 

"We're a legacy band in a lot of ways, even though we're releasing new material," Rzeznik shared with NPR. "And it feels like I'm releasing material for myself and for my audience … I'm not trying to have big hit songs on the radio or whatever because of streaming and everything else."
